Graduation night

On Tuesday, December 18 grade 6s GRADUATED!

The amazing quiltEveryone wore their glad rags and looked mature, handsome/beautiful and like stars. They should all have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The night started with a presentation about our Canberra trip. Some of the highlights of the camp were Questacon, the War Museum and Memorial, National Museum and CSIRO Cool Chemistry.

Other presentations were made of Sovereign Hill, DECA, Poetry Recital, dancing, singing and musical performance. Awards for Citizenship and Encouragement were also given out, and some speeches were made. Our Stephanie received an award and we are very proud of her.

Everyone told Taylor that he was going to trip when he was going up on stage to receive his award. Guess what? He was going up the steps and he tripped – everyone laughed. :) Ha ha hee hee. Giggling Gerties. He wasn’t hurt.

The Graduation Quilt was finally revealed. Tadaaa! Each of the grade 6 kids made a square to represent themselves and Miss W sewed it all together and had it quilted. Here it is:

So, Miss R, when are you going to update this thing? I’m tired of reading about Graduation!
