Graduation night
December 19, 2007On Tuesday, December 18 grade 6s GRADUATED!
Everyone wore their glad rags and looked mature, handsome/beautiful and like stars. They should all have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The night started with a presentation about our Canberra trip. Some of the highlights of the camp were Questacon, the War Museum and Memorial, National Museum and CSIRO Cool Chemistry.
Other presentations were made of Sovereign Hill, DECA, Poetry Recital, dancing, singing and musical performance. Awards for Citizenship and Encouragement were also given out, and some speeches were made. Our Stephanie received an award and we are very proud of her.
Everyone told Taylor that he was going to trip when he was going up on stage to receive his award. Guess what? He was going up the steps and he tripped - everyone laughed.
Ha ha hee hee. Giggling Gerties. He wasn’t hurt.
The Graduation Quilt was finally revealed. Tadaaa! Each of the grade 6 kids made a square to represent themselves and Miss W sewed it all together and had it quilted. Here it is:

Currumbene Camp - Corop
November 12, 2007
On the 7th of February the Grade 5’s went to Corop Camp. There were lots of activities. Our favourite activities were the flying fox and abseiling. The Flying fox was pretty high. You had to get a harness on and then go to the first floor of the climbing tower and wait a little bit. Then you get called up to the 2nd floor. You get called up to the last floor. Then you get connected to the rope which is connected to the flying fox. Then they open the gate and you go. When you get to the bottom of the flying fox you have to take the rope back up to the top.
